'DIRECT BOOST’ PROJECT: R+D+I FOR HYDROGEN STATIONS.
Under the slogan "on the planet’s side", Gurpea and H2m attended the ‘b - venture 202 investment roundtable, where they presented a collaborative R&D&I project on sustainable engineering for hydrogen stations: 'DIRECT BOOST'.
By attending this event, to which the companies were invited by Wolaria, the Castilla y Léon Government's Startups accelerator, Gurpea is continuing its work on the development of its sustainable engineering business line, focusing specifically on the manufacture and compression of natural gases.
The aim of this project is to speed up the immersion of sustainable mobility with hydrogen as an alternative to the fossil fuels that have been monopolising the market for decades and which, as UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said, "is leading the world into the era of global boiling".
Julio García, Head of Management and Organisation at H2m, due to being in the same loop as the electric vehicle.
"It is our duty to invest in and research more efficient, more versatile and lower cost hydrogen refuelling stations to speed up their use," Julio said.

THE KEY TO THE PROJECT
In this sense, the 'DIRECT BOOST' Hydrogen station concept, developed by Gurpea and H2m, allows hydrogen to be compressed directly to the pressure required by the vehicle at any given time. In addition, the compact design equipment integrated into 20-foot containers, makes it easy to transport and place.
The key to the system lies in the compression offered by the equipment, with its high compression capacity and fast response, whose technology is being worked on by Gurpea.
SECTORS IN WHICH IT CAN BE APPLIED
Initially, looking at opening up the market through dealers, petrol stations, municipalities that are aware of green mobility, shopping centres and hotels,
Some of the investors attending the event: Sodena, Clave Capital, Caixa Capital Risk, Kfund, Nekko Capital, Kaf Ventures, EDP, GrayBella Capital and Kapita, among others.
